The plans for the kick off are going great. Please join us on the 25th so we can discuss ideas to get the state government focused on creating jobs.
ReplyDeleteWe had a great weekend. Thanks to all for your help. I look forward to seeing every one on February 25th.
ReplyDeleteEd's kickoff should be great. I hope to see everyone on Feb. 25. It's time to get this state moving in the right direction. Go Ed!

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to meeting folks and collecting signatures this week end and it looks like the weather will be great.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for coming out in the rain. I had a wonderful time. Now We have to collect the signatures to get on the ballot. I hope I see you over the week end.
ReplyDeleteYesterday we filed 484 certified signatures with the secretary of state. Thanks every one who signed the papers and thank you to those of you who helped collect the more than 700 raw signatures that got us to this point.
ReplyDeleteLast night there was a big crowd in Natick to support Richard Ross for state senate. The momentum for change on Beacon Hill is continuing to grow. The legislature's effort to undermine Prop. 21/2 is just the latest assault on the Massachusetts taxpayer. I am proud to have CLT's 21/2 PAC endorsement, because I know that the first step in restoring business's confidence in Massachusetts is to get the state's fiscal house in order.
ReplyDeleteAfter stopping the assault on Prop. 21/2, we should support Rep. Jeff Perry's effort to ensure that state assistance goes to those in the country legally. Please call your state rep. and let him or her know that you support the Perry amendment
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing every one at the Rally for Richard Ross at 12:30 today. It's at Needham Highlands Common (Highland Ave. and West Str.) Charlie baker and Rich Tisei will be there too.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is beautiful and I'll be in Ashland tonight to say hello.
ReplyDeleteThe last week or so I have been attending town meetings throughout the district. Many of the problems confronting our communities, almost seem insurmontable. But, after meeting so many dedicated and hard working town meeting members, I am confident that once we change the way state government does business our communities will be able to move forward again.
ReplyDeleteLast night we had a chance to spend some time
ReplyDeleteat Framingham's Town Meeting. Today we were in Natick. Thanks to every one who is taking the time to talk to me about ways we can get the state moving again.
Great Friday Morning Group meeting today. The enthusiasm of the folks in the room was tremendous. The momentum continues to build. We will bring common sense back to staee governemnt.
ReplyDeleteThe state senate's plan to take $100 million dollars from hospitals to "help small business" deal with the health care cost crisis is a terrible policy. It does not deal with the causes of the crisis and it will hurt hospitals that employ thousands of people in Massachusetts. Moreover, its the latest in a long line of examples of the legislature failing to make tough, necessary decisions to fix a problem. It is another signal to employers, thinking about investing in Massachusetts, that the insiders on Beacon Hill will change the rules and make it harder to do business in Massachusetts. Let me know what you think.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see Jeff Perry and so many enthusiastic supporters of his common sense legislation to require that only people legally in the country get state benefits. If I am lucky enough to represent the people of the Second Middlesex & Norfolk District, I will support the Perry Amendment.
ReplyDeleteI have had enough. The Probation Department fiasco is just the latest mess to rock state government and there is silence from the legislators who created the mess and used it for the jobs. we will change things on Beacon Hill.
